Ski programme

The principal aims of this week are:

  • To provide first class guiding and instruction from professional, friendly Mountain Guides to improve off piste skiing technique.
  • To give practical mountain awareness training on the hazards and risks associated with skiing off-piste particularly for avalanches.
  • To provide the opportunity to ski the best off piste in the Portes du Soleil region.

The week is intended to be fun with lots of thrilling skiing but always directed with maximum attention to your safety and the safety of others.

There is a 'rest day' in the middle of the week when no guiding is provided. You can of course ski on this day or relax in the chalet and town.

Itineraries vary depending on the composition of the group and the weather and snow conditions.

Skills and Stamina

Our off-piste ski clinics are suitable for adventurous intermediate to expert skiers. Great care is taken to ensure the compatibility of skiing groups.

We offer 2 levels:

Level 1

suitable for intermediate skiers who can confidently ski red runs with linked turns. No previous off-piste skiing experience is required although this clinic will also suit skiers who have some off-piste skiing experience.

Level 2

suitable for advanced skiers who can confidently ski red and black runs in all snow conditions. Previous off-piste skiing experience is essential.
